Regulation 7.008: Anti-Discrimination, Anti-Harassment Policy 1.15 Prohibited Discrimination and Harassment Training

At Florida Atlantic University, we remain committed to helping university community members and guests feel welcomed and supported by ensuring a respectful university environment. It is a foundational requirement at Florida Atlantic University that all University Community members complete mandatory training about unlawful discrimination and harassment, which include sexual harassment and sexual misconduct training. Florida Atlantic University's trainings are comprehensive, intentional, and integrated with campus programming initiatives and strategies, which are intended to end and remedy unlawful discrimination and harassment in the university community.

To ensure University community members are aware of the ethical and behavioral expectations and also how to seek helpful campus assistance when prohibited behaviors arise, all University Students must complete online training that addresses bystander intervention, healthy relationships, and sexual misconduct prevention. Also, all new FAU Employees must complete Anti- Discrimination and Anti-Harassment, which includes sexual harassment and sexual misconduct training.

University Students will receive email notification via their campus email with the training link. Also, University Students can login by going directly to http://faustudents-fl.vectorlmsedu.com/login and sign in using their FAU Net ID. Students must select the designated Sexual Assault Prevention course.

University Students course completion expectations:

  • University Students who fail to complete the course will receive a registration "Hold" on their account.

The new employee training is available online via Canvas. New FAU employees who need to complete this training will be emailed the course link via their campus email prior to the date they are scheduled to complete the training.

New Employee course completion expectations:

  • New Employees must complete the course within 30 days of their hire date.

A notification will be sent to any New Employee's Supervisor who fails to complete the course.

New Employees that have questions or did not receive the training link should immediately contact OCR9 at 561-297-3004 or email OCR9Training@xuemengzhilv.com. Information about OCR9 Training for New FAU Employees can be obtained by contacting OCR9 at 561-297-3004 or email OCR9Training@xuemengzhilv.com for more information.
